2 Places You Have To Visit in Coron City
Bistro Coron
I’ve tried several eateries in town before going here. Kawayanan Grill, (which had the WORST service in the world btw) Centro Coron - these are all no match with Bistro. Food here is amazing!
Potato Salad
I wasn’t able to take pictures of everything since I was too hungry :( Haha
What I ate for our last night: Peppered Tenderloin Steak. I loved this! This...
Twin Lagoon
Last stop for the day: The Twin Lagoon.
This is the first lagoon. Beautiful rock formations!!
Going to the second lagoon can either be adventurous or boring: you can dive down beneath the ladder or just simply go up the ladder to reach it. :D
Hello secret lake!
Oh, nothing. Just chilling on a bamboo raft in the middle of a beautiful lake surrounded by stunning limestone...
Banol Beach
We stopped for lunch at Banol beach. :-) Cute island with a rather small shoreline of pure white powdery sand.
For lunch:
Grilled Liempo
Grilled Tuna
And a whole lot of crabs!
Good times. :-)
Twin Peaks Reef + WWII Shipwreck
Twin Peaks reef was the next destination. It’s basically just a snorkelling site a few minutes away from Kayangan Lake. :-)
The corals swarmed the entire place. Sadly, I forgot to bring my diving shoes so I kept on stepping on them. It was painful :/ I wasn’t to explore the place that much!
These fishies kept on biting me! Haha!
We went to Banol beach after...
Kayangan Lake
Kayangan lake is dubbed as the cleanest lake in Asia. The first sight literally took my breath away. It was too beautiful… I was speechless.
I only took a few photos. I was so excited to dip in! The water is 70% fresh and 30% salt. Temperature is thermocline: at the surface, it’s cold, but as you go deeper, the water can get as hot as 50 degrees… Or some scary hot number,...
The Coron Loop
This is what they call “island hopping” (I put quotation marks cause technically they’re not islands) in Coron: the Coron loop. Originally, we planned to hire a private boat but we found a cheaper alternative in the city. We also bumped into a churchmate in while climbing Mt. Tapyas who happens to be alone but met two americans who had no idea about the Philippines so we all...
Mt. Tapyas
The view and the cross atop Mt. Tapyas. You have to climb less than a thousand steps though. :) It’s bearable! + the view will soothe your aching legs and thighs. So beautiful.
Let's fly to Coron!
Ah, finally! I’ve been dreaming about this adventure prior to the trip. Seriously, there were nights when I would ditch schoolwork and look at photos of Coron, and times in bed when I couldn’t shut my mind off because the idea of this trip becoming into a reality was too surreal for me! I can’t fully explain how excited I was for this trip! Definitely the best way to spend the...

Merry Christmas. :)
Dad, you are sorely missed.

VISA Debit Card!
Cash can sometimes be a pain in the ass, especially if you’re a one-time-big-time and a spontaneous (weird combination) buyer like me! Since I don’t buy things on a regular basis, whenever I do shop, I always carry big amounts of money with me. I don’t exactly feel great about that since I’m the type to always lose money. :/ I don’t know, but it always happens to me!...

Waiting is hard, but it sure is worth it. :-) I am grateful beyond words! Thank You :-)
TGIFriday's EASTWOOD!
Finally, TGIFriday’s finally opens in Eastwood! Your favorite hangout place + your favorite American restaurant = perfection! It’s about time Friday’s joins the list of great restaurants nestled in Eastwood. I won’t do much talking in this post since Friday’s is already a known and popular brand. Instead, I prepared a barrage of photos of Fridays’ mouthwatering...

Anawangin - Camping, Hiking, and Everything...
Beautiful. :-) But before I jump to the describing the paradise that is Anawangin, let me just share a few events that happened before we arrived to this place.
We arrived at Pundaquit after 5/6 hours on the road. For some reason, we had so many stopovers. :)) The weather started getting wild when we arrived in Subic, which kinda posed a problem because we were supposed to hike to Anawangin via...
SURPRISE!!
Ten ten ten ten tenen ten ten ten tenenen…… (secret spy sound in movies)
What: Ina’s surprise birthday thingy
Where: Mt. Capulong, Ayala Westgrove, Laguna
The group arrived after a few minutes of travel!
We were salubong-ed by Ina’s mom who Nina collaborated with.
OFF WE GO! We were all so excited! Even the driver was excited hahaha
We tried our best to...
Boracay 2011!
I don’t have a lot of photos of people because I was too focused on the beautiful scenery. :| Even the things we did, I wasn’t able to document properly. Haha!
Boracay’s fine white sand! Looks like Nido!
I have so many sunset photos and it’s so difficult to choose which to post! The Boracay sunset is simply stunning!
We went island hopping and...
National Student Convention - Roxas City II
Days 3 - 5
The boys’ basketball game! Intense =))
Everything starts and ends with a prayer. :)
Last Rally Night!
Wassap Mitch!!!! Good to see after so many years! :D Sayang we didn’t have a picture in Bora. :(
Proud of you, boy!
So good to be immersed in the culture that I once loved. :-) Can’t wait for next year!!!

National Student Convention - Roxas City I
National Student Convention is a gathering of students from different A.C.E. (Accelerated Christian Education) schools all over the Philippines (think PAREF, but Christian) held once a year, usually outside Manila, by the School of Tomorrow Philippines. In this week-long event, students basically compete in different fields - music, arts, academics, platform, and athletics. :-)
Each event is...
BJ Pascual
I had the opportunity to meet and interview THE BJ Pascual for Stache Magazine last October 16. Awesomesauce! :D Special thanks to Elisa for making this happen! I also contributed an editorial for this issue. Check out Stache now! :-)
I wanna see your peacock
One of my student’s photos for her Plants and Animals entry for the National Student Convention :> PROUD! :>
Oh Lego...
Worked on LEGO for BrandMan class. We were asked to make an ad that would make LEGO relevant to today’s digital world. Sadly, we didn’t hit the right spot… :( It broke my heart. We put so much effort on this and then we still got it wrong. *sigh*
But whatever. I learned alot from our mistake. BAWI NALANG! FINALS, WE WILL OWN YAW FACE NIGGA!

Psalm 13.
How long, oh Lord will You forget me? How long, oh Lord, will You hide, hide Your face from me? How long must I wrestle with me And everyday have sorrow in my heart, sorrow in my heart? I will wait on You, I will wait on You, I will wait on You Look on me Lord and answer me Give my eyes light or I will sleep in death, I will sleep in death My enemies say, “I will overcome Him” And my...
Move
I’ve been itching to go outside the metro for quite sometime now but my schedule does not permit me to do so. The urban life is hella draining. I honestly can’t wait for the almost month-long sembreak! Sad thing though: I was supposed to fly somewhere really really really far and beautiful and exciting this sembreak but I wasn’t able to fix my papers early. But then again, I...
